Good Food & Wine Show DurbanFood and Wine lovers will converge on the Durban Exhibition Centre from 23-26 July to soak up the tricks and talents of the hottest celebrity chefs from all corners of the globe, brought to Durban by Swiss International Air Lines.

The Good Food & Wine Show showcases the best local wares and wines as well as hands on workshops by the world’s leading talents and innovations from all the kitchens of all the continents.

We pride ourselves in offering our visitors the largest variety of hands on workshops under one roof.

A star studded line-up of chefs that include flamboyant BBC Food celebrity chef Reza Mahammad, Indian cuisine expert who understands the constraints of the home cook and with his unique characteristic charm. Mike Robinson, presenter from Heaven’s Kitchen, also known as the 'Safari Chef', because he loves hunting and cooking with game, uses real good and wholesome produce to demonstrate his unique cooking styles. Cyrus Todiwala, has revolutionised the outlook on Indian cooking and is one of Britain’s most valued and respected connoisseurs of Indian cuisine. Arthur Potts Dawson, Jamie Oliver’s original ‘Green Chef’ from Acorn and Water House Restaurants in London, will give new meaning to cooking with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables.

The Good Food and Wine Show prides itself in presenting brand new innovative concepts each year and this year we are proud to present to you for the very first time :
From the Garden to the Kitchen: Eco consciousness and change in values have resulted in massive changes in the way we live, share and consume. Seasonal cooking will be presented by Arthur Potts Dawson and other top chefs and workshops in this interactive arena will focus on sowing planting and useful information resulting in a fruitful seasonal crop. Recycling, reusing and reducing will be one of our main features.

The Great Wine Sale: This dedicated area will showcase some of South Africa's premium wines, available for tasting and purchase at great Show prices. So be sure not to miss out on this opportunity!

Outdoor Entertaining: Witness fabulous gourmet braai ideas on a built in gas braai which allows for the control of temperature when cooking - elevating the art of the traditional braaing to a complete quick, clean and convenient cooking solution. Mike Robinson, our meat expert, will be joined by local foodies, celebrities and sports heroes whipping up fabulous gourmet ideas demonstrating how to cook anything on your gas braai.

Top Billing, in association with Nestle Gold will host an exclusive lounge where you will have the opportunity to meet the Top Billing presenters and indulge in the finest selection of Swiss chocolates.

Chefs in Action Theatre: Host to the world’s leading celebrity chefs who will be demonstrating at our Durban show and the best of our South African chefs using the freshest ingredients and finest cooking equipment.

Coffee and Chocolate: Steaming hot..that’s the coffee Creation Hands-On Workshops at the Good food and Wine Show. Featuring the major brands related merchandise and services this area take indulgence to another level.
Best South African Restaurant Chefs Theatre in association with Afrox: A slew of award-winning South African restaurant chefs conjure up their signature dishes, while you sit back and absorb the magic.

Durban Bites: Come eat dishes prepared by Durban’s trendiest restaurants as they showcase their specialties and signature dishes paired with the finest wines in South Africa.
