We all love kids. Some more than others. We certainly all love our own kids. Somehow though, they always seem to have that much more energy than us, and that can make you feel like you need a weekend from your weekend.

Here we have five places we think you can take your child for a couple hours of fun on the weekend or school holidays. They're quite diverse but all offer the opportunity to learn while having fun.

We invite Jo'burgers and indeed all visitors to this page to give us their input. We've made a list of what we think are the best kids activities in the city, now you get to vote for the best and worst. You also get to suggest activities and places you want to see on this list. Eventually we'll have the most democratic lists of places to experience.
