Selmor Mtukudzi

Ekurhuleni Boksburg Hotel
Sat 28 September
Starts at 20:00
R200 - R300
A night of great music and dance with Selmor and Sandra Mtukudzi, daughters of the Late Legend Oliver ‘Tuku’ Mtukudzi.

Selmor Mtukudzi is an established energetic female musician, with a musical career that stretches over a decade. Since the passing of her father in January 2019, she has incorporated a lot of her late father’s music into her playlist. This has been so to continue Tuku’s legacy and continue the musical journey he had established across the Globe. Selmor Mtukudzi and band will be blending contemporary township style and eclectic urban contemporary pop infused with soul. This is a legacy continuation concert, remembering the Legend in Music and Dance with his talented daughters and two of his original band members, veterans Picky Kasamba and Never Mpofu.

We are excited to grow this relationship with Selmor Mtukudzi, who recently has been touring in Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom as the legacy continues.

Having toured around the world several times before, Selmor is no stranger to delivering top notch performances and this show promises to bring us her distinctive Sound and style up close and personal.

Supporting acts to the tour are: Nox Guni, Takamia, Paddy Watts, Picky Kasamba, Never Mpofu, Tendai Manatsa, DJ Alex, DJ Platinum
